The idea is simple: to sell 1,000,000 pixels. Hence, 'The Million Pixel Homepage'.
Everyone is welcome to buy the pixels, which are available in 4,000 'blocks' (each measuring 100 x 40 pixels). You are able to purchase multiple blocks if so desired. These blocks are priced at £175 + Vat. The reason for selling them in 4,000 pixel blocks is because anything smaller would be too small to display a meaningful logo.
You can buy as many pixel blocks as you like, as long as they are available. When you buy some pixels, you can then display an image/ad/logo of your choice in the space you have purchased. You can also have the image click through to your own website. However, no obscene or offensive images are allowed and all sites will be vetted.
The pixels you buy will be displayed on the homepage permanently for the period of at least one year, to give all advertisers value for money.
Because you will have an image and a link to your site on the homepage of site that will potentially be seen by thousands of people over the coming year. The site will be online for a least one year. As well as all this, our pages are well indexed by Google and all the other major search engines, becoming part of this page can help with the your listing position.
