Hatters matters... a word from the editor
RELEGATION is
depressing and it takes
some getting over, be
you a fan or a player.
That’s why there’s been a bit of a squad shake-up in an effort to move on and haul us back into the Championship quick smart.
Predictably the gates have dropped due to lower-league status and the annoyance over the sale of our best players at an unprecedented rate.
We’ve not exactly set League One alight yet. It’s mainly due to our awful away form that we find ourselves a bit off the pace at the moment, although there’s still plenty of time for things to be turned around (whoopee a point at Yeovil!)

Of course, it's a marathon not a sprint, but how much longer will Kevin Blackwell say “the team needs time to gel”, “we’re only at 65-70%” and “we’re playing teams off the park but just need to be more clinical”?
Yes, we have played some good stuff this season, but it’s goals that win matches and apart from Paul Furlong who’s going to get them for us? (Bring back Warren Feeney I say!) It’s also a shame that two of the best performances of the season so far – the Sunderland and Charlton cup ties – have been played out in front of such paltry crowds.
We’ve drawn Everton next. Let’s hope to avoid a repeat of the 4-0 drubbing in last season’s cup tie because it was after that match that Town’s Championship season collapsed like a pack of cards.
Mind you we’re 17th in League One, can it get any worse...
