Barnfield College

Judges will be looking to recognise outstanding individuals, teams or organisations working in the public, private or voluntary sector.

For example, a good neighbour, whose unstinting efforts and generous contribution to the lives of others has made a real difference, or whose work is within the health related support and services sector.

Asda

Judges will seek to recognise any young person up to the age of 18 who has overcome adversity in their personal life or made a stand to improve the lot of themselves or others.

Examples could include those who are coping with disability or medical problems, young carers or those who have helped organise anti-bullying or similar social initiatives

This award is for inspirational organisations or individuals who have created an environment in which all team members have the opportunity to reach their full potential by encouraging internal and external training and development at all levels. The winner will have excelled in helping businesses or individuals achieve their goals.
Barnfield College
This award will seek to recognise an outstanding effort and levels of achievement by a young person aged 19 or under, either in their school lives, in a sporting context or within the wider community.

This award will salute an individual or a team, employed either in the public, private or voluntary sector, that goes that extra mile when it comes to customer service. Testimonials from service users should form a part of the initial nomination.

Once shortlisted, a visit to experience the customer service may be done.

London Luton Airport
Judges will be looking to recognise an arts, sports or community-based project initiated by local authorities, charities, community groups, schools or others which has established a new service or made a substantial improvement to previously available facilities and services

Nominees can include individuals or teams working in community support roles (eg PCSO, parish warden, street services), individual members of the public or groups who have acted to tackle crime, disorder or anti social behaviour, or any individual or group which has made a positive community contribution in terms of environmental improvement.

Someone over the age of 21 who still strives and continues to achieve great things at work, in their profession, in the field of sport, or a hobby or pastime.
University of Bedfordshire

Nominations are welcome in support of companies and commercial organisations which can show a commitment to the community in which they are based.

Judges will be looking for evidence of sponsorship and support for schools, charities and community initiatives, schemes that encourage staff to become involved in community activities, and adoption of workplace best practice in terms of recycling and environmental impact.

Napier Park

This award will recognise an individual or group which in the opinion of the judges has made a significant contribution to the community or provided an outstanding example to others through their achievements.

Judges will take account of nominations for all other categories, but nominations can be made directly for this category.
